A new update dropped with exciting features. Find out below what features have been added.

Welcome everyone!

It is time for another update. While this one might not look that big, it does have a big impact on various systems on the website. Therefore I am rolling stuff out in some smaller chunks. But before that, let's get started with something important.

Pricing issues

This is an important topic as quite some people use this website to hold their collections and in turn check the worth of their collection. An issue was spotted where prices weren't correct for some of the cards, showing ridiculous high prices even though TCGPlayer didn't show those on their website.

After some investigation in my code, I found the issue. Instead of only showing the latest price, it was combining multiple entries together for the price. So, if the prices were something like this ($2, $2.5, $2.3), it would actually calculate it as $6.8 instead of $2 inflating the collection of a lot of people. This has now been fixed. I would like to stress that your collection didn't lose their worth. The calculation on my side was just wrong. I am very sorry for the inconvenience and will try to have a better way of testing those sort of changes.

Legal decks

If you've used the deckbuilder, you might have already noticed it, but there is now a green checkmark on the top of the page. This checkmark indicates if you have a legal deck or not. If you add one of the suspended characters like Bobba Fett, Collecting the Bounty, you'll notice that the checkmark changes to an alert icon. This indicates that your deck is NOT legal. It will also add the same icon next to the card to indicate which card is making your deck not legal.

Currently these decks are still shown in the overviews. This is done to give people a headsup that this feature is going live. After a month, I'll only be showing legal decks in the overview along with a filter if you do want to see the non-legal decks. I hope this makes sense, but if you do have any feedback about this, then please let me know.

Twin Suns

Along with above changes, I've also updated the requirement of Twin Suns decks to include 80 cards. Initially it used to be 50, but this amount has been changed since a few months now. The reason why I hadn't updated this yet is because I wanted to have the legal deck functionality in place first. Just like the standard decks, I'll show all decks on the overviews for now, but in a month I'll push a change to make sure that only legal decks will be shown. This will hopefully give everyone some time to update their decks to the correct deck amounts.

And that is all! If you have any feedback, please send them my way through Reddit. Also if you spot any issues with the website, please let me know. I can't always see everything happening, so issues do get through sometimes.

Thank you very much!
