Hi everyone!

It has been a few months. Time really flies by very fast. It felt like the last website update was just a few weeks ago, but instead it has been... 3 months!!  My idea was to give one every month, but maybe I need a be a little bit more flexible with that. Filters, filters & even more filters

Filters are a big thing for the website. You want to be able to search/find cards on the website with various characteristics. While this wasn't broken in previous versions, I've now expanded it with a ton of new functionalities to have even more advanced searching. These filters are now available on the card overview page:

  • Cost

  • Power

  • Health

  • Variants

  • Keywords & Triggered abilities

The one I would like to highlight is the last one, the Keywords & Triggered abilities one. If you wanted to find everything related to "On Attack", you could try searching on it, but it's not super ideal especially as your use-case might be different. Maybe you only want to find all cards that grant "On Attack"? Well, with this new system, you are now able to do that. You can filter on cards that:

  • Have the keyword

  • Have the keyword conditionally

  • Grant the keyword

  • Synergize with the keyword

The way this is determined is by certain words (like "give"), so while it's good for 95% of the cases, some might be wrong. If you spot any wrong ones, do let me know! I hope this is all very helpful for searching through the new cards.

 

Trait page

You might want to know more about a specific trait. There is now this page where you are able to see all the traits along with all the card counts. Like, did you know there are 499 cards with the vehicle trait? ;)

It's a big small, but hopeful useful for some people out there!

 

Smaller changes

And then there are a ton of changes that aren't really big enough for their own section, so I'll sum them up here for you to look at.

  • The blog page has been redesigned

  • The "add to collection" modal has been redesigned

  • There is now a page where you can suggest new features instead of having to find a way to get in contact with me

  • Login button now have a loading indicator so you don't double click on it anymore and break it

  • Fixed an issue where the collection filter broke

  • Fixed an issue where you could visit pages on the api subdomain

  • Fixed an issue with the search just not making sense sometimes

  • Fixed an issue where the screen kept on loading when your session had expired

  • Fixed an issue bottlenecking every request and adding an additional 10ms to it
