Del Meeko can be sided. He can be useful against decks that play lots of events. For instance, if you are playing against a control deck you might play Del Meeko on turn 2 in order to prevent your opponent from playing power of the dark side. Hyperspace disaster is another card that is not mandatory. Though it can be very effective against space heavy decks such as Piett
